How to prepare and enjoy library wines.
There comes a time when the treasured library wines beg to be
enjoyed. To prepare for this unique experience, we suggest leaving
the bottle upright for 2-3 days, allowing the majority of the
sediment to settle on the bottom of the bottle. Older wines need to
be exposed to oxygen before revealing the layered complexity they
have developed over time, so we recommend decanting most library
wines. After uncorking the bottle, pour it slowly into a decanter.
Try to keep the last 1% of the wine with the remaining sediment in
the bottle, as this can often create a bitter flavor on the palate.

Newton Vineyard Shipping Policy
ORDERING AND SHIPPING
All orders (including overnight and 2 day delivery) received no
later than 11:00 AM Pacific Time require one full business day for
processing and packing at our warehouse before being shipped.
Standard delivery time is 5 to 10 business days, depending on
weather (please see more info below). We ship via UPS and Fed
Ex and also offer Next Day and 2-Day air shipping.
Please note that orders are shipped and delivered on business days
only (excluding weekends and holidays).
Someone over the age of 21 must be present to sign for any packages
containing alcohol (Federal Law). Three delivery attempts
will be made before the package is returned to us. Once
returned, we must charge a $10 rerouting fee on all packages
reshipped. To avoid this inconvenience, we recommend delivery
to a commercially zoned business address.
We cannot ship to PO, FPO, APO or IPO boxes.
We cannot ship internationally.
EXTREME WEATHER
To preserve the quality of the wines during Warm Summer months,
we strongly encourage you to select 2-Day air shipping to the
following states: CO, DC, FL, GA, IA, IL, MI, MO, NC, ND, NM, NY,
SC, VA, WV, and WY.
If we notice extreme temperatures around the country we will hold
your order until temperatures normalize. Wine will be shipped
as soon as the weather becomes more temperate.
